Son of Sardaar (SOS) is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama film directed by Ashwni Dhir a remake of Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna directed by S. S. Rajamouli, Inspired from 1923 American silent movie Our Hospitality starring Buster Keaton and Natalie Talmadge. The filmfeatures Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Longtime associate and Ace cinematographer Aseem Bajaj is handlingthe camera once again for Dhir. The film is scheduled for release on 13 November 2012; hence competing against Yash Chopra's Untitled Project. RecentlyHimesh Reshammiya was roped in to compose the music along with the famous lyricist Sameer Anjaan.
